Countries that Have Never Been Neighbours with the Former British Empire
Name all the countries that have never bordered any (modern-day) country whose land was part of the British Empire - even if it was just a small territory. Countries whose territory was part of the empire do not count either.
Based on this map and this quiz. Wikipedia and this quiz do not consider Afghanistan and Ivory Coast to have been part of the British Empire.
Smaller territories also count (e.g. Heligoland, Ionian Is., Mosquito Coast, Hong Kong, Welhal, Gibraltar, Menorca). They count as a whole modern-day country: Hong Kong -> China --> all Chinese neighbours are out.
This quiz was made for fun and it is not supposed to be taken overly seriously (even though I did spend an awful lot of time researching all the data). I made the quiz the way I did because I found this concept to be interesting and I wanted to see how many countries would be left under the strictest of conditions. Countries like Poland or Kazakhstan obviously didn't border the British Empire. However, I felt that I cannot really assess which territories were important enough to turn its modern-day country into "former part of the British Empire" hence the inclusion of Heligoland etc. Thanks for taking the quiz&reading this. Have a nice day! :)
