I noticed something interesting after you alphabeticised the answers; here's what I wrote to the quizmaster, and I'll let you know what the reply is! Cheers, Jeremy
Today I did http://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/83115/the-islands-of-the-cook-islands. Looking at the answers afterwards, I let the setter know that s/he had set three of the answers out of alphabetical order, namely Mitiaro, Mangaia, Manuhiki. They’ve now alphabeticised the sequence to Mangaia, Manuhiki, Mitiaro, but a weird thing has happened to the stats, something I only notice because I’m the only person so far to get any of those correct. I had correctly guessed Mangaia, but not Mitiaro; but after the quizzer has resequenced the answers, the quiz shows that 33% (ie me) have gotten Mitiaro correct, and no-one has gotten Mangaia correct. In other words, it’s given me the credit not for the answer that I gave, but for the answer that was in the ORIGINAL POSITION before the answers were resequenced.
