Quartz is hardly valuable if you are talking about it in a monetary sense - Natural quartz is cheap, and in most electrical applications it is produced synthetically for even cheaper (I would assume). If you're talking about scarcity - it's the second most common mineral in the earths crust. I suppose it is valuable in the sense that it is useful...but that's the only way.
Same here, first try. Not so difficult though, how many bank names could there be other than United Bank of Switzerland? (After looking it up I realized it was actually Union Bank, but still got it.)
On Jetpunk, they seem to consider Matterhorn as more famous than Mont Blanc, I don't know why. Anyway, you can understand this question as "Most famous mountain in the Swiss Alps...
This is probably the first quiz I took where Matterhorn was an answer. So I'm not sure where you get the idea it's considered more famous. But anyway as alberici said the answer should be clear without further instructions as Mount Blanc is not in Switzerland and this quiz is about Switzerland.
The name "Mont Blanc" is surely more famous than "Matterhorn". But nobody has any clue of what the Mont Blanc looks like. If you show a picture of the Matterhorn, everybody remembers seeing it at least once and recognizes its shape, even if you don't know its name.
Fun fact: Toblerone is known for its triangle-shaped chocolate bar and the distinct mountain on the side. The mountain is The Matterhorn, located in Zermatt. Since Toblerone was created in Bern and Bern is known as the “City of Bears”, you can see a bear figure on the mountains. #JS
Definitely, although scientist is not incorrect because a) Euler did make many contributions to the sciences in general and b) maths can be considered as one of the sciences. However, I think it should be changed as it is more reflective of his achievements to describe him as a mathematician.
I know it's not strictly the question but you likely won't find quartz inside a swiss watch. The idea of swiss watches, and why they're so expensive, is the craftsmanship that has gone into the mechanical movement.
Nah it actually doesn't. Bern is just the headquarter of the government and parliament, but nowhere in the constitution or the law is written that Bern is the capital.
"Shoop, shoop, shoop..."

A: Well, the flag's a big plus.
