Jeez, I had about 4 minutes left and the map was unrecognizable and I was at 194 so I just hit the give up button thinking that was good enough. Average score is 191! Feel like I have to do it again.
It means that theres 64% of players either scored as high or higher but out of all the players that have played this they had different scores but added up to the avarage of 216
With 257 I only beat 61%. Jeez, that was hard. Nearly regret spending work time for a quiz. Although, a great quiz. I would play a "Europe only" version of this or for other condinents as well. Now I feel the urge to repeat it...
Took me a few tries to beat this one. Great quiz. How about one where it shows all the countries and they only disappear after you get all the borders.
Awesome quiz! It's tough, and although I got 100% first try, with 7:49 left, it was hard to keep track of the small borders. Also, can you update Swaziland to Eswatini?
Missed just one, Morocco-Spain. I don't think that one is visible even with zoom, which makes it bloody hard to find when it's the only one you're missing.
It is visible. I had one left and couldn't seen any line, so I started clicking at random points and finally I happened to zoom at north Africa and saw these few little dots. When I moved a bit south, it showed Morocco-Algeria, so after a while I guessed that it must be Morocco-Spain :D
That's because there isn't one. Akrotiri and Dhekelia are British Overseas Territories, so not part of the United Kingdom. Same as for Gibraltar, which is why UK-Spain also isn't on here.
this doesn't work at all on dark mode as the countries are in black and the borders very dark grey - i can't make them out. perhaps they could be white, or the jetpunk green? thanks
Managed to clear off the Americas, Europe, and all but like five borders in Africa. Didn’t start on Asia and the few in Oceania. Ggs to those who got more… don’t understand how it’s possible lol
I typed Zambia Namibia a dozen times and it wouldn't accept it. In the answers, it's written as namibia zambia. Could you accept the reverse please?
Also check on Croatia Montenegro to be sure it accepts it both ways - those are the only two I missed and I'm reasonably confident I didn't actually miss them.
I pressed start then realised what I'd got myself into and I didn't have half an hour to spend. I hope the grand total of USA/Canada doesn't forever go on my record...
Looks like Saint Martin, an island split in twain between the Dutch constituency of Sint Maarten in the South and the French overseas collectivity of Saint-Martin in the North. Judging from the older comments, I’m pretty sure this quiz used to include that overseas border, but has since removed it, and the map just hasn’t been updated yet.
This is a great idea and a great quiz, but is there a way to do it with 2 text boxes? I mean copy/paste is ok, but it's still cumbersome. It would be so much better if you could type a country in one box, then start knocking out the bordering countries in the other box. As it is, I'm just too slow with the keyboard.
If you struggle with this level remember to do short borders first! You will alway recognise borders like mali-mauretani so there is no need to rush them as they give you a lot of information.
Check out the following link: https://realestate.wichita.edu/question/median-vs-average/
In this case, your result is higher than average but lower than median.
Beats or equals 86.3%....
Damn, these guys are good XD
Could you make Eswatini acceptable as a type in for Swaziland?
I only missed Netherlands-France
Excellent Quiz!
Also check on Croatia Montenegro to be sure it accepts it both ways - those are the only two I missed and I'm reasonably confident I didn't actually miss them.
Me: (types "IndiaChina")
Me: (types "PakistanChina")
Me: Wow, I just solved a lot of problems!
To avoid the 1.3 km border between Canada and Denmark.
Stopped after about a minute.
(This comment was also a time waster).
Only beating 79,6%. Unbelievable.
Finally did it.
very special mindset required, trying to remember what I just typed instead of what to type afterwards and always looking at the map.
The most insane quizz in the 'borders' category.
It could be nice to have more like that.
