It doesn't seem as though you are being consistent, QM. If USA is required in other quizzes, then why isn't ca accepted here? If US was all that's required in other quizzes, then it would make sense that es would be the answer here, just as you accept om for the UK rather than nd. Would you please share your reasoning with us? Or is today national "Make Them Whine Day"?
USA is short for United States of America though, UK is short for United kingdom. For none of the other countries the official names are used (besides obviously for those few where they do not differ from the informal one). So that is a weird comparison. They only ask for the common abbreviation to be written in full.
Another point that sort of matters it is not like US is accepted on any of these quizzes only USA, so if it starts with un- it makes sense that it ends with -ca
But FYROM for North Macedonia and DPRK for North Korea are also accepted in quizzes, but FO (FOrmer) and DE (DEmocratic) do not work for them in this quiz.
Making the quiz so short makes it an exercise in typing speed versus actually taking a quiz. Would like to be able to look at the map and make calculated decisions instead of having to go through the alphabet.
266 now, that's enough for my nerves today. Don't see me getting 100% if it was close I might try again. But this feels impossible (unless you write it down or make words from the needed letters, but not gonna do that)
I'm pretty sure the 1% who get 100% either practiced more than a few hundred times or cheated in some way. Personally, I was curious how hard this would be with all the two letter combinations in front of me... so I made that list! It took me half a dozen tries to even type all those combinations in so fast in alphabetical order. 141 combinations in 1:30 is pretty dang tough with all the weird letter combinations.
After a lot of practice, got it with 14 seconds left to spare. I still think it would be more fun if it had more time. That was less a quick identifying of the countries and more of just learning which strings of letters get you the most countries fastest.
It is possible to complete it in 47 secs, my best so far! You just need to have a fixed order you do it in so that you don't need to think as you type.
Good quiz but it is USA not US. Therefore 'ca' and not 'es' is required. Even without that mistake, it is still impossible! But still interesting to attempt.
Need a bit more time. It would be more fun if it wasn't just a typing quiz, or as someone else said, just going through the alphabet. A clever quiz though.
I love this quiz! When I started playing it, I thought 'this is impossible'. Now my record is all countries in 1:21 :-)
Strategy:
- I start with Oceania
- Then Asia (esp. Brunei, Singapore and East Timor because they are not detectable later)
- Then Africa
- Carribean (dont forget 'TR' and 'GR' for Trinidad and Grenada)
- Middle and South America
- Europe
And I have made some 'connections' - when I type 'RE' for Singapore, afterwards I type 'RA' for Andorra. When I type 'RK' for Denmark, afterwards I type 'RG' for Luxembourg...
This will probably be buried but help for those who need it!

Add a button to show unguessed items. I played it untimed but still couldn't get all of them because I couldn't see that Andorra was the one that was unguessed. Even zooming in, it wasn't really visible
No idea if it's just me but the island nations with the circles appear in the "opposite" color when a part of them is missing, instead of red they will look more blue-ish for example, making it unnecessarily annoying to remind yourself you need to get the other end, not the one you'd get for any other country.
Why are people always on the comments section on this site talking about how they learned every country at age 3 or they learned all the flags before the could walk. That level of genius is so exceedingly rare it's just silly to lie about to a bunch of internet strangers. I'm 35 and I know all the countries. Not gonna impress anyone but at least it's freaking true
Easy! Just start typing "iaaninmaauzatasosuetrakacuirsapecomealnibemopaaftuposproombounuzkybunebhsyjoseukgearaznajachlilavegaghsisrcrslesphdaugrwleyakeeradgouewitoaqeynyumndfiicthceczswfrgrdoayuahouronstguenusrueayeeqcydsosminodiqaderkaszebacashjioaluhaeltrbrecisegkudjziithukitikoviamillyweptorryvorguava" and then you get 389/392. I got 364
I got 364. It was easy. Crazy quiz !! Not sure if I want to frustrate myself more, but I think I do, but I dont haha
Don't ask how many attempts and techniques I tried for this one, I've done it at least once every day for months, lol!
Finally nailed it.
Strategy:
- Some of the hardest ones first (Brunei, Trinidad, Samoa, Fiji)
- Then: European micronations
- Then: all purple European nations
- Then: all remaining purple nations
- Then start with the blue ones
- Then finish whichever orange countries are still left
Strategy:
