The Platonic solids do not have that many vertices, they have that many faces. Also, the cube has 6 faces not 8, the octahedron has 8 faces not 6, the icosagon has 20 faces not 12 and the dodecagon has 12 faces not 20.

The cube is also known as a hexahedron.

and an 11-gon is also known as an undecagon.

These should be accepted as alternate responses.
