Broad "Peak" doesn't work? And how about Cho Oyu @ 8201m?

In the file from which I got the data they're called Broad Feng and Qowowuyag. I have no idea which name is more appropriate but I guess I'll stick to having a single source. Thanks for the comment

Shishipangma, Cho Oyo, Lhotse... this is a test of transliteration as much as it is one of geographical features.

Good quiz, which could do with more time. The Grande begins with a G not an R! "Rio" is not a part of its name. If it was then all rivers would start with the same letter and this quiz would be rubbish.

Agreed, Rio Grande goes against the note about prefixes.

Great quiz idea, poorly executed :(

1) Seems like most of these are arbitrarily in the English name or the native name. If South Island is in Maori then might as well put the Tibetan name for Everest too

2) Broad Peak, Cho Oyu, Lhotse should all be there

3) "Gasherbrum" not accepted for "Gasherbrum Shan" is pretty controversial imo, since Wiki just calls it Gasherbrum I

4) As someone else said, Rio Grande should not count for "R" based on the quiz rules that you yourself laid out

Would love an update for 2024 since it really is a fun quiz otherwise 🙏
