Bro. A country having 'people's' or 'democratic' in their name is Always an indication for the opposite. Just like some European kingdoms are some of the most liberal and democratic countries in the world lol.
Ok! I missunderstood the clues given. It says Main Continent (number), but the number is the total of countries that have that word, not only in the 'main continent'. Bit confusing I think.
This quiz inspired me to make one with a similar idea but a different topic. If you liked this quiz, you should check it out: http://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/125460/names-for-sports-venues
United has 5, with 2 on the "main continent" (which is exactly what the quiz says): United Mexican States, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland, United Republic of Tanzania, United States of America.
As somebody from the Republic-Kingdom of the Democratic State, the Federal People's United Islamic Arab Commonwealth, the Principality of the Saint Guinea States, the China-Congo Federation, the Independent Ireland Islands, New Korea and the Socialist South Sudan Union, I am pleased to have got 100% the first time.
For those of you who haven't heard of this country, we are not fully recognised yet but claim the Hawaiian Islands; all of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan; Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea and Papua New Guinea (particularly the areas of these supposed countries with most Catholics); China (including Taiwan) and both the Democratic Republic and Republic of the Congo; Ireland and a few surrounding islands including Great Britain; the Korean Peninsula; and South Sudan.
This was a really cool concept for a quiz, I'm actually kind of surprised it took me two and a half years to happen across it, since I've been playing these quizzes almost daily since 2013.
My favourite country, of Republic Kingdom the Democratic State and Federal People's United Islamic Arab Commonwealth Guinea Principality Saint States China Congo Federation Independent Ireland Islands Korea New Socialist South Sudan Union.
I'm probably just missing something here but aren't there four cases of the word 'guinea' in official country names: 'the Republic of Equatorial Guinea', 'the Republic of Guinea', the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and 'the Independent State of Papua New Guinea'
Pedantic I know but the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is not Britain's full name it's the full name of the United Kingdom. Britain is a constituent part of that. Now, had you said British Isles.....
suprisigly difficult! I got the top 14 and guinea and union. Was not really sure how to approach this, did not think words like guinea would count, just words like republic (and of the)
Nice quiz though
...to be honest, I don't know much about Guinea Bissau
But because people will probably find that long and confusing, we will also have a short name: "Kyrgyzstan."
unless it's a joke that nobody takes seriously
You scored 20/29 = 69%
This beats or equals 96.2% of test takers
The average score is 11
Your high score is 20
You should name it.. Garfield! (no idea why that was the first word that came into my mind haha)
