I had to look it up even after being told what the F stands for. I probably would have guessed for the rest of my life before I came up with Dallas-Fort Worth.
I live in North America, I watch college and pro sports, including plenty in Texas, and I've been to both Dallas and Fort Worth. I've never it referred to as DFW.
@yrk that is pretty amazing then it means atleast 5% would have heard of fort worth I wouldnt have thought it would be that much, more like 0,5% let alone that people know (of) the abbreviation. So I guess it seems that nearly everyone that knows the name knows the abbreviation aswell.
People from the USA seem to have a lot more knowledge of airports than the rest of us... Although I don't see French or Italian airports appearing on here!
Man... I was actually pretty pleased with myself for getting half of the answers right on this tough quiz, but then it turned out it was a below average score that beat only 25% of test takers. Are you kidding me? Gotta stop comparing myself to you guys :P
People from Qatar aren't called Qatar, they're not interchangeable. You wouldn't accept France for French. This would also leave a letter left over for those who do type in the full thing.
Always a Canadian province question...! Some of the happiest times of my life were in Oranjestad in Aruba, so I was in a good mood right from the start of this quiz!
