Rearrange the letters in the grid on the left to make one Christmas-related 9-letter word. In addition to this - drawing only from these 9 letters - solve each answer from the clues given.
Each grid letter may be used only once within an individual answer
I see no reason why “pie” is not accepted as a common breakfast food, especially around the holidays. Why are you poor saps eating cereal when there is PIE to be had??
I was disappointed by this quiz as it was advertised as relating to Christmas. What's fireplace got to do with the Nativity story? The latter is about our Lord and Saviour taking human flesh and being born in a cold stable of a virgin in order to teach us the path to salvation and ultimately to redeem us from sin by His sacrificial death on a cross. The former concerns an irrelevant myth with no relationship to Christmas nor to truth.
Why correct the song if you don't think this quiz should be advertised as a Christmas quiz? It was originally a forfeit game and does not have much to do with the birth of jesus.
Might want to substitute "replace" as the word "place" is in the clue, and also because it only leaves the "fi" to prefix it with to get the 9-letter word.
Small breakfast = very merry Christmas :-)
The quiz doesn't advertise itself as being about the nativity story
