Yay for 100% ! - Missed much much more on the others. Was it cheating that I wrote the words on paper next to each other? I just don't seem to be able to combine them just in my mind when there's so much space in between. Pure impossible.
The blade of the knife is the entire metal part above the handle. The cutting edge is the edge, although I also tried grind, bevel, and choil. Didn't try blade because that did not fit the clue.
spelling. columbia university, columbia sportswear, british columbia, and the countries of the world quiz spell colombia with a "u" and not an "o". however the country is actually spelled colombia without the "u"
Yeah, after trying quite a few (plausibly and not-so-plausibly) tropical fruits, I gave up and actually got at it backwards - I managed to guess "Mongolia" from just "oil", and then derived "mango" from the missing letters.
I did not like this quiz because many of its hints were too broad. "Tropical fruit" could mean the desired mango, but also banana, coconut, papaya, etc. It probably took a full minute for me to guess that one clue.
5-letter tropical fruit could have narrowed down the search some.
Similar problem with COMA. I thought it was "sleep". Tried sleep, sleeping, knockout, knockedout.
Either this quiz needs more precise hints, or more time.
Got all but nose. Might ve gotten it with a few seconds more (aklready tried sone and ones..) really pleased with that! Usually I get more towards the 50% right (cause most american centered questions, like brands or food products they have there, I am never able to get) well besides geography. The second day on jetpunk I knew all the countries, while the first try I was well, actually near 50% haha 89 I believe (second time allready 120 though)
The clue is in the plural: "Constricting Snakes". Thus the answer should be too.
Just because other quizzes are more lenient with the singular/plural distinction doesn't mean they all have to be. And for this one in particular, the correct spelling of the answer is necessary to deduce the country.
