You should totally count "Y" as a vowel in "Cyprus" as it's pronounced as a vowel. It's even in the stressed syllable! - And by your logic Egypt doesn't have even that one vowel, so having "only one vowel" would not apply to Egypt.
For the purpose of this question, Y isn't counted. There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the quiz to avoid confusion. Like I said, this is my first quiz so if a lot of you guys out there think this still is a problem, I will gladly change it. As for Egypt, I'm pretty sure the first letter is a vowel...
If the US, Canada and Russia all touch three oceans (presumably Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic) the Australia also has coastlines on three oceans (Indian, Pacific and Antarctic or Southern)
Some sources don't extend the Southern Ocean all the way to Australia. (When I was in school there was no Southern Ocean. It was divided among the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian.)
Y is totally a vowel as in when it makes a vowel sound. The word yes has one vowel, but the word why does not have 0 vowels, the Y is considered a vowel. Y will be a vowel when it makes a vowel sound until doomsday, it will SOMETIMES be a vowel.
