Coffee is one of the most common drinks in the world, that can literally be found almost everywhere. But Coffee has an interesting process to make before it comes to your cup. History
Well, the story goes that coffee was discovered in Ethiopia, a boy named Kaldi discovered coffee after he noticed that after eating the berries from a certain tree, his goats became so energetic that they did not want to sleep, because of the caffeine - but that's a myth. It could be true, but we know that Coffee was first cultivated on the Arabian peninsula, and made its way into other areas like Iran, Egypt, etc. But guess what! It wasn't till the 1600s when coffee was brought into Europe by traders. Soon, many coffee houses opened up. When America was founded, coffee was brought into the colonies and also grown in many places. I will fast-forward a couple of hundered years till I get to 1985. Do you know what happened? Yes! Starbucks was founded there, and ever since it has been the largest coffee-selling chain in the world!

Where is it grown?

How is Coffee made?
1.Planting and harvesting You may have known that Coffee comes from the seed, but did you know that it can be grown into a coffee tree? But that normally doesn't happen - but what DOES happen is that it gets dried and roasted. Coffee actually has a fruit in it called a Cherry, which is available to get processed when it turns ripe. But the sad thing is that most people have to pick the Coffee seeds by hand, so when you drink Coffee, know how much work is being put into making it.
2.Processing & Drying The cherries get processed by evaluating the bad ones, then putting the rest in the wet mill - which separates the seed from the fruit. Then they get put in more water to get fermented. After that, they are dried.
3.Sorted & Testing They are then again sorted by density through a dry blower. After that, they are tested by mouth to measure the quality, taste, and other features of the coffee.
4.Shipping The coffee gets shipped to different parts of the world. They are put into 5-pound bags. Each company has a head buyer - who selects bean delivery and their routes!
5.Brewing The end!
