WHAT IS WEST ORANGE?
West orange is a town in northern New Jersey with a population of around 44,000 people. It is mostly known as the place where Thomas Edison worked on his best inventions and a large colonial city during the British times. Let's learn more...but like always...divide it into categories! HISTORY, POLITICAL, and FUN CORNER!Believe it or not, West orange used to be Native American territory! It was used by the Leni tribe. The native Americans didn't believe in "owning" land, but they just thought it as their territory, and it all changed when the British came; in 1666. The land was purchased and then it eventually became a British colony. It stayed like that for about a hundred years. When the United States took over...it stayed a normal town...but then early Hollywood was staged there!!!! And then came modern times.

The city takes a total of 12 square miles, and has roughly 45,000 people. However, the population is decreasing due to a number of factors. It has a decent economy, even a hockey team! The thing you have to know is that West orange has a strong democratic population.
😄FUN CORNER😄
