Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp is suing his ex wife for defamation. But a lot more is going on behind the scenes. The actor's lawyers have shown many pieces of evidence for Amber Heard, Johnny's ex, being an untruthful person. Makeup she supposedly used to cover her bruises was released after the divorce. (Source: Ethan Trace on TikTok). She also claimed that Johnny would physically assault her. Johnny on the other hand was eating gummy bears and doodling while his ex-wife babbled on about these claims. Also, she has accused Johnny of SA. The trial is on a break, so I will come back in 8-9 days when the trial continues.
I will say that nearly everyone (me included), seems to be on one side. Of course, this does make it extremely hard to analyze the case unbiasedly when everything you see on the Internet is skewed one way, but, based on current evidence I know of, I do believe Depp is the one who faced abuse.
That said, we should keep in mind that this isn't mutually exclusive, and varying amounts of DA could have been perpetrated by both parties.
Btw, you might want to add more info from the case to make the blog a bit longer (and help keep those of us, like me, who don't follow the case too consistently, informed).
