What is this contest?

This is Jetpunk Survivor! Obviously, this contest is based off of the reality show Survivor. Jetpunk users will be able to compete in challenges, and those who lose have to vote each other out. If you get voted out, you are eliminated! Whoever wins the final vote at the end wins a prize! (I'm still deciding what that prize is.)

How to Sign Up

To sign up, simply say "I want to join" or something similar in the comment section. Anyone is willing to join this competition! I will accept all who sign up before the deadline on Saturday, October 21, by 11:59PM Pacific time. I will divide all the users who sign up into two "tribes." Those tribes will compete in various challenges. The tribe that loses the challenge must vote out a member. Whoever receives the most votes is eliminated.

The first challenge will be announced on Sunday, October 22.

Rules

1. Sign up before Saturday, October 21, 11:59PM Pacific time.

2. No alts. I will find out about it eventually if you do use them.

3. I will assign the teams randomly, do not beg to be on the same team as your friends.

4. Keep your eyes peeled for Jetpunk Survivor #1, where the first challenge will be announced on Sunday, October 22!

U.S. States Viewer Voting- Update

U.S. States Viewer Voting #12 is currently being worked on right now! I know I said it was going to come out on Monday, but then something came up on the weekend, and so I didn't finish it. I need a couple tips of advice as to where this series should go. After the next elimination, there will be 36 contestants. I am thinking of changing up the teams so that they're not based solely on alphabetical order. How should these contestants be divided?

-2 teams of 18

3 teams of 12

-4 teams of 9

-6 teams of 6

-9 teams of 4

-12 teams of 3

-18 teams of 2

There's also the five missing Western states, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, and Colorado. They're currently searching for the eliminated contestants, but they've been absent for a couple challenges now, and I don't know what to do with them now? Should they find the eliminated contestants or give up and return to the challenge? Write your suggestions in the comments!

Sure, I’ll sign up. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend juggling two series’s though, but you do you.

I think the missing states should stumble upon Canada.

Using alternate accounts, so people will not attempt to use alternate accounts to fill spots and last longer in the game.

I actually had this idea to do on my old account, but more alike to the popular cartoon Total Drama Island. Of course, then, there was a lot more blog interaction and active bloggers, so I'm not sure why I never actually did it.

I love the idea, but perhaps it would be more prudent to wait until after the US State Vote series is over. I know from personal experience from previous blogging accounts that when I tried to juggle 4 or 5 series at once, it was very difficult and it messed up my posting schedule. I used to post daily blogs (and set a JetPunk record for doing so) but due to taking on more than I could handle I was inconsistent in posting and eventually it became work rather than fun.

Also, how will people vote? Just in the comments? I see a major issue with that; voting in Survivor is private. Leaving votes public in the comments will influence others' votes and instill bias.

Nevertheless, I'd be glad to participate.

Odd numbers will be on the "Kasayahan" tribe. Kasayahan means "happiness" in Tagalog, the language of the Philippines. Many of the Survivor seasons take place in the Philippines, so Jetpunk Survivor will take place there as well.

Even numbers will be on the "Pamilya" tribe. Pamilya means "family" in Tagalog.
