Geography Snap Statistics (April)

As many of you know by now, there is a leaderboard in every game mode of Geography Snap. More precisely, the 5 fastest players per day, per week and since the beginning of Geography Snap (not really, more like since 26^th October 2020). Well, the player Changedaworld invented a points system according to the rank of a player in the All-Time leaderboard. Here it is :

1^st place : 7 points

2^nd place : 5 points

3^rd place : 3 points

4^th place : 2 points

5^th place : 1 point

There are no new players, no players are back, and no one got ousted again.

The player who's the 1^st in the most categories is... Changedaworld, being first in 24 game modes.

The player who's the 2^nd in the most categories is... SilverDog, being second in 24 game modes.

The player who's the 3^rd in the most categories is... Dagod, being third in 32 game modes.

The player who's the 4^th in the most categories are... Sammyboi, being fourth in 8 game modes.

The player who's the 5^th in the most categories is... Sammyboi too, being fifth in 11 game modes.

Out of all 225 All-Time top-5s times, only 7 were improved, including 2 World Records...

And here is a leaderboard of the players who have the most CATs. Nothing to do with actual cats, a CAT (Category Association Triple) is when a player is in the same place in all 3 difficulty levels of the same category association.

A total of 27903 games were played in April, and the biggest day was April 26^th, with 1303 games played !

The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in an Easy game mode is 1,8 seconds, between Changedaworld's 3,8 seconds and Dagod's 5,6 seconds, in Capitals Easy.

The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in a Medium game mode is 4,3 seconds, between SilverDog's 7,9 seconds and Dagod's 12,2 seconds, in Countries, Capitals & Shapes Medium.

The greatest gap between 2 consecutive players in a Hard game mode is 6,4 seconds, between Changedaworld's 12,3 seconds and Dagod's 18,7 seconds, in Countries Hard.

The greatest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in an Easy game mode is 3,8 seconds, between Changedaworld's 3,8 seconds and Batman23's 7,6 seconds, in Countries, Capitals & Shapes Easy.

The greatest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in a Medium game mode is 7,7 seconds, between Changedaworld's 7,7 seconds and BI's 15,5 seconds, in Countries, Capitals & Shapes Medium.

The greatest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in a Hard game mode is 10,3 seconds, between SilverDog's 14,7 seconds and BI's 25,0 seconds, in Countries, Capitals & Shapes Hard.

The smallest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in a Easy game mode is 0,7 seconds, between SilverDog's 3,1 seconds and Batman23's 3,8 seconds, in Countries & Flags Easy.

The smallest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in a Medium game mode is 2,1 seconds, between Changedaworld's 5,6 seconds and Dagod's 7,7 seconds, in Countries & Flags Medium.

The smallest gap between the 1^st and the 5^th in a Hard game mode is 3,9 seconds, between Changedaworld's 9,0 seconds and tamara's 12,9 seconds, in Countries & Flags Hard.

The World Records that have been the most improved during April are the Countries & Flags and the Capitals & Flags game modes that have been respectively improved from 3,2 seconds to 3,1 seconds and from 3,3 seconds to 3,2 seconds, both with 0,1 second that was cut off.

The non-World Record time that has been the most improved during April is the Countries, Flags & Shapes Medium game mode 5^th place, which has been improved from 16,7 seconds to 15,5 seconds ! That's 1,2 seconds that were cut off !

The game mode where the sum of every time in the All-Time top 5 has been the most improved is Countries, Flags & Shapes Medium, where 1,2 seconds have been taken off.

If we add every time in every All-Time top 5, we get to... 2154,9 seconds, or 35 minutes and 54,9 seconds. That's 2,8 seconds that were cut off during April. And if we only take the time of the 1^st in every All-Time, we get to 318,6 seconds, or 5 minutes and 18,8 seconds. That's 0,2 seconds that were cut off in April.

Since only 2 World Records were broken in April again, this section is the same as in March.

The first World Record of April was the Countries & Flags Easy 3,1s, which was broken by SilverDog 15 days, 12 hours, 46 minutes and 37 seconds after March was over.

The last World Record of April was the Flags & Shapes Medium 3,2s, which was broken by SilverDog 13 days, 7 hours and 12 seconds before April.

The time gap between these two World Records is 1 day, 4 hours, 13 minutes and 11 seconds.

In conclusion, this month has been catastrophic. April was somehow even worse than March, even though the World Record for the most famous game mode, Countries & Flags Easy, was broken. I really hope that players will be more interested in Geography Snap during the next month, or else it would be the end for Geography Snap Statistics.
