1. We all know that Nepal is home to Mount Everest, but did you know it's increasing in height at around 44 millimeters (or 1.7 inches) every year? This is because the Indian tectonic plate is being pushed into the Eurasian tectonic plate.

2. In total, around 6500 people have climbed Mount Everest.

3. Nepal's flag is the only national flag that isn't a square or a rectangle. Instead, it's made of 2 triangles.

I’m liking this series! Thanks for making it! Why did Malta get awarded the cross? Also, a link to the square root of Nepal’s flag would be amazing. I couldn’t easily find information about that.

Thanks for the feedback! For answering your question, Malta was awarded the George's cross in recognition of their heroic struggle in WW2.
