Q1: 1, it is topologically equivalent to a torus

Q5: Saturn

Q6: Blackboard

Q7: None, the firefighters would extinguish rooms not the police

I disagree with the first one. A straw is always cylindrical and therefore should have two "holes". A torus from what I understand is ring-like. No one would call a ring a straw or vice versa.

Going by the topological argument, a cube is equivalent to a cuboid and ultimately to a a quadrilateral, which is obviously incorrect.

And for the fifth one, all the outer planets have rings and not a single ring, but only Saturn is well-known.

I would say it is a phone like Fuse said below or a bell or a doorbell or even a clock! All of them ring and don't have a finger. (Clock has hands not fingers!) 😉

Although the above suggestion by @Fuse for a telephone that has a ring, is probably better (because Saturn isn't the only planet with a ring)
