Kronsteen Didn't Do Anything Wrong

At about the midpoint of From Russia with Love, SPECTRE's plan fails horribly, Red Grant has been killed and Bond still has the lektor. Now let's go through the plan and how it failed. The plan according to Wikipedia is "trick James Bond and MI6 into stealing a Soviet decoder machine called the lektor so they can steal is from them, while also destroying Bond's reputation in a humiliating sex scandal and eventually kill him as revenge for the death of Dr. No" Now Rosa Klebb's part in the plan was simple: pick out an assassin to kill Bond and get the girl for Bond to fall in love with. She picks Donald "Red" Grant to be the assassin and Tatiana Romanova to be the girl Bond falls in love with. Keep in mind that the plan was devised BEFORE Klebb picked Grant or Tatiana. Now for the most part the plan goes perfectly, Bond fall head over heels for Tatiana (because he's James Bond) and he takes the lektor, all while Red Grant is following and waiting for his time to strike. And that's exactly where things turn disastrous for SPECTRE, Grant, under the alias Captain Norman Nash, has dinner with Bond and Tatiana on the Orient Express, where Grant poisons her drink making her ill, he and Bond take Tatiana back to her and Bonds car. He then attacks Bond leading to Bond being defenseless against a gun wielding Grant. And Grant instead of just shooting Bond, decides to gloat which leads to Bond using the tear-gas briefcase Q gave him and results in Grant's death. Great, now we know how the plan failed, now we need to discuss Blofeld, Klebb and Kronsteen's meeting, I'm going to go through line-by-line Blofeld says "three men were found dead on the train at Trieste. One of them was Grant what have you to say, number 5?" He asks Kronsteen as it was his plan, and Kronsteen replies saying "he was Klebb's choice, her people failed her" he pins the blame on Klebb and so far, everything checks out and then Klebb says "it was YOUR plan! I followed it implicitly" to which Kronsteen says "impossible. It was perfect" Klebb says "except for one thing that we are dealing with Bond" And then Blofeld sends in Morzeny to kill Kronsteen and he does Kronsteen is stabbed with a poison tipped shoe blade and dies in, how long was it Blofeld? "12 seconds, one day we must invent a faster working venom" Thanks Blofeld! Anyway, like I said earlier the plan was devised before Klebb picked Red Grant and the only reason the plan failed was NOT because they were dealing with Bond, but because Klebb picked Grant off of one thing and do you mind repeating exactly what you said about Grant Klebb? "He seems fit enough" She judged him on being "fit enough" she probably should've said to Grant "don't gloat in his face the second you tell Bond the plan his pot armor is activated" but she doesn't and for some reason, Blofeld kills Kronsteen instead of Klebb when, in the plan was perfect and in Kronsteen's own words "Who is Bond? Compared with Kronsteen"
