Countries of the World - Squid Game | Season 2, Chapter 1

Welcome back to Squid Game: Countries of The World. Watch the students of UN High School compete for 196 million US dollars! (the balance increased because I edited the profile blog and now there is 196 students) (the balance is mostly funded by Australia).

For the purposes of this blog, we are going to act as if Season 1 never happened, so they will have no prior knowledge of the game or of each other, other than pre-existing relationships from the main high school series. The challenges will be different, the interactions will be pretty much the same.

PROFILES

At the end of each chapter, the readers get to select a certain number of additional players to be eliminated between chapters.

Players:

The woman on the PA spoke sternly to the 196 players, who were slowly flooding into a hallway. The large green doors had swung open automatically.

"What the hell is this..." 129|Deathslayer looked around in a mix of confusion and panic.

"Welcome to hell, guys." 111|Georgia scoffed.

"Can I being eliminated right now?" 040|Guyana asked.

"Here she goes again, trying to kill herself." 146|Maryland lamented, rolling her eyes.

"The first game will begin momentarily. Please line up to have your picture taken. After having your picture taken, follow the staff’s instructions and proceed to the game site."

"Great, we gotta get mugshots taken fo' we get tortured by them kooky a-- guards." 111|Georgia suspired heavily.

"I'm already tired, and we haven't even done anything yet." 095|California complained as she moved forward in line.

149|Saudi Arabia and 050|UAE were looking disapprovingly at 106|Norway and 179|Sweden holding hands.

"What al-shame..." 149|Saudi Arabia shook his head.

"Are people like this. Some men, they want to acting like woman." 050|UAE whispered in response.

"Why they wanting be woman? Man is man, and woman is woman." 149|Saudi Arabia murmured.

"Hey, so you're definitely not allowed to be transphobic on national television." 193|Fianchetto interjected.

"al-What is transphobia? Is one of that woke America they/them word? Western persons, they say this?" 149|Saudi Arabia asked.

"Am guess so." 050|UAE shrugged.

420|Jamaica was last to have his picture taken, and as he stepped out of the booth, the PA crackled.

"Follow the game staff to the gaming area now." 

"I already hate this." 067|Capybarra whispered to himself.

"Do nie into worrying." 190|Poland reassured 067|Capybarra. "I thinking this of nie into bad as yuo thinkings."

The players approached a very high staircase. Many of them became very frustrated, and the game hadn't even started yet.

"This is some real bull. I didn't sign up for an intense workout today." 003|ItzIngenious complained.

158|Missouri interjected into his conversation with himself. "Maybe you wouldn't be whining so much if you weren't such a weak little skeleton twig." He laughed insultingly.

"Leave me alone." 003|ItzIngenious grumbled.

"Make me." 158|Missouri folded his arms defiantly.

"Hey, cut it out." 140|Texas demanded.

"I said, make me-" 158|Missouri began before 140|Texas pushed him against the wall.

"I said... cut it out."

"Okay, okay, fine." 158|Missouri straightened out his clothes as 140|Texas let go of his neck.

"This game of many scary..." 053|Sri Lanka shuddered as he was the last to enter the game hall.

What they saw, none of them expected. The PA began to crackle in static.

"Attention players. The first game is... Mingle." 

The game hall was expansive to say the least. It was a circular arena with a central platform that closely resembled a carousel, featuring sculptures of white horses (much to the joy of 076|Turkmenistan). The arena was surrounded by a series of evenly-spaced colorful doors strewn along the walls, adorned with lights, bows, and patterns that almost evoked some sort of carnival sentiment.

"Oh, wow..." 095|California looked around in shock. "It's giving... budget."

"I will explain the rules of this game. Players will be spread around the room on a large, rotating platform, which you are standing on right now. When the music stops, and a number is called, you must get into a room with that exact number of players. Players who are not in a room or are in a room with the incorrect number of people will be eliminated immediately."

"Wow, this is cutthroat..." 133|Australia wiped her glistening forehead.

"This is already immensely intense. I'll just go with it, hopefully I survive."

All of the players were very confused and disoriented, but there was no time for that. The players heard a metallic whir, and then the platform began to spin at once. A few players lost their footing and fell onto the ground.

Some eerily saccharine children's music began playing.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

The majority of the players stood frozen, with their backs to the horse statue in the center. Many were holding onto other players so that they would not fall.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

"I'm genuinely frightened." 171|McKenzieFam whispered to 049|Ukraine. He seemed to shiver in apprehension.

[ 🎶 Binggeulbinggeul doragamyeo chumeul chupsida 🎶]

034|South Korea and 086|ColinShadow were skipping in circles happily to the sound of the music, their left arms linked together.

[ 🎶 Sonppyeogeul chimyeonseo, noraereul bureumyeo 🎶]

The other players looked at them in irritation. 034 and 086 were the only people doing such dynamic movements out of all 196 players. But would this be their downfall?

[ 🎶 La-la-la-la, jeulgeoupge chumchuja 🎶]

While 086|ColinShadow and 034|South Korea seemed to be incredibly content, the rest of the players were stressed beyond belief.

[ 🎶 Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ring-a-ring-a, ring 🎶]

As the players' nerves finally began to settle, the platform suddenly stopped. The players lost their balance due to the inertia from the spinning platform.

"Three."

As the PA sounded, the lights shut off. Everyone began screaming in a state of panic.

"Oβer thεrε!" 045|Greece pointed to a random blue room, and he, 096|Cyprus, and 042|Armenia sprinted at top speed so that nobody could get the room before them.

096|Cyprus swung the door open, practically shoving 045 and 042 in, and then he shut the door.

Outside that room, absolute havoc ensued; an amalgamation of players, shoving into each other. Players were being shoved out of rooms, wrestling to pull others out of rooms, and others trying to force themselves into rooms.

086|ColinShadow and 034|South Korea pushed open a random orange door, but when they saw inside, they saw 176|Hawaii, 120|Nevada, and 009|Maine already in there. They made brief eye contact, but with a vigorous roar, 120|Nevada, followed closely behind by 176|Hawaii and 009|Maine, charged at the door.

"GET OUT!" 120|Nevada demanded as he pushed 086|ColinShadow out the door and slammed it in his face. 

"Ten. Nine. Eight." 

"COME IN HERE!" 086|ColinShadow and 034|South Korea bolted into the room immediately to the left. 190|Poland was running by, but 086|ColinShadow yanked on his sleeve, forcing him into the room with them. He then threw himself against the door to prevent anyone else from entering.

At this point, people had abandoned the notion of being with their friends in the rooms. They were just desperate to get into a room to begin with.

Like the big brute he is, 183|Russia pushed 069|Estonia and 157|Vermont to the ground as he rushed for a purple door. His yes-men, 023|Tajikistan, and 033|Kazakhstan, were right at his shoulders. He threw open the door, but did he care that two people were in there already? No, of course not. He grabbed 013|Northern Ireland and 109|Israel and tossed them out by their collars. He pushed in his goons and slammed the door.

"Watch the door. Do not letting anyvun in." 183|Russia ordered.

109|Israel promptly stood up to find another room.

"Five. Four. Three." 

He simply threw open one of the yellow doors, and luckily, 160|Bhutan and 186|Croatia were there. 109|Israel rushed in and held the door shut.

"Two. One. STOP." 

Suddenly, all the doors locked. Around 25 people were still trying to get into the doors. After a short delay, gunfire rained down on them, and the game area and doors were splattered in blood.

Survived Round 1: 171

Eliminated: 25

Frightened beyond belief, the players did not know whether to open the doors or not.

"Players, please open the doors and return to the spinning platform." 

Hesitantly, the 171 remaining players returned to the platform and awaited further instruction. Behind them, the guards came and latched up

What they received instead was nausea when the platform began spinning again, yet slightly faster.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

"What número tu thinking it es?" 132|Colombia asked.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

"Yo am no sé. Maybe being cuatro o cinco." 019|Venezuela replied.

[ 🎶 Binggeulbinggeul doragamyeo chumeul chupsida 🎶]

"For qué?" 098|Equatorial Guinea asked.

[ 🎶 Sonppyeogeul chimyeonseo, noraereul bureumyeo 🎶]

"Because there es only un hundred y seventy one player, and they close some of los doors." 019|Venezuela explained.

[ 🎶 La-la-la-la, jeulgeoupge chumchuja 🎶]

"Es makings sense." 098|Equatorial Guinea shrugged.

[ 🎶 Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ring-a-ring-a, r- 🎶]

The platform stopped abruptly, and everyone began panicking.

"Four." 

The 171 remaining players scrambled to find safety in one of the colorful doors.

Some people immediately grabbed the hand of another person and ran for cover, while others (like 183|Russia) shoved to the ground as many players as possible.

He powered his way through the crowd, forcing his way into a room that had 067|Capybarra, 175|Nicaragua, 086|ColinShadow, and 156|Lithuania in it. 067|Capybarra tried to hold the door to keep 183|Russia out, but he was just too strong.

"Open the door." 183|Russia demanded sternly, and 067|Capybarra jumped back in fright.

"Which one of yuo I likings the least... hmm... yuo." 183|Russia lunged forth, seizing 156|Lithuania's arm and flinging him out of the room. 156|Lithuania fell to the ground with a thud. 183|Russia then slammed the door.

"I would throw yuo out too, but we needings four people." 183|Russia folded his arms angrily. 156|Lithuania pounded on the door, before running off in search of a different room.

Everything seemed to be moving so quickly. The time ticked down unspeakably quickly, as shoving matches and even full-on fistfights ensued.

095|California took off one of her heeled shoes and flung it into the crowd, hitting 194|Slovenia in the eye. She fell to the floor, crying, and 095|California stepped over her to find shelter.

"Fifteen. Fourteen. Thirteen." 

Many doors closed and slammed frantically.

061|Montenegro and 071|Cuba had just gotten into a room with 125|Luxembourg and 185|Singapore. They could all see fingers desperately stuck through the slots of the doors, begging to be let in.

Meanwhile, with a few seconds left on the clock, 057|Arizona, 058|Indonesia, 012|New York, and 073|Malaysia booked it for a red door. They got inside, and all seemed well... until they noticed 099|Afghanistan curled up in the corner.

"Get out!" 057|Arizona demanded.

"I was be here first!" 099|Afghanistan shot back.

057|Arizona grabbed him by the arm, but by some form of mutiny 058|Indonesia and 012|New York fought off 057|Arizona, and worked together to push him out of the room.

Once 057|Arizona got his bearings, he raced for the door, pleading and banging on it incessantly.

Unknown if he found another room or not, but 47 players who had failed to find a room with three other people had become the latest bloody masses on the game room floor.

Survived Round 2: 124

Eliminated: 47

"Players, please open the doors and return to the spinning platform." 

A twisted mixture of fright and fatigue plagued the remaining 124 players as they readied themselves for the final round.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" 126|Paraguay yelled suddenly.

147|Bolivia slapped her hand over his mouth to shut him up.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

The spinning platform started once more.

[ 🎶 Dunggeulge dunggeulge 🎶]

"So sick o' dis game." 111|Georgia rolled his eyes.

[ 🎶 Binggeulbinggeul doragamyeo chumeul chupsida 🎶]

"Me too. Been workin' m' a-- off, runnin' around like a chicken with my head cut off." 113|Mississippi breathed heavily.

While he complained, more staff came to lock the majority of the doors. Now there were only about eleven rooms open, spaced out very far.

[ 🎶 Sonppyeogeul chimyeonseo, noraereul bureumyeo 🎶]

"Like, this is so much work." 095|California whined. "My feet hurt running in these heels."

[ 🎶 La-la-la-la, jeulgeoupge chumchuja 🎶]

"Why would you wear heels at a time like this?" 111|Georgia asked.

[ 🎶 Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ring-a-ring-a, ring🎶]

"Because I look hot." 095|California flipped her hair pompously.

[ 🎶 Ring-a-ring-a, ring-a, ri-🎶]

The platform came to a screeching halt.

"Eleven." 

"ELEVEN?" 095|California yelled, and ran as fast as she could in her heels to find a room to be in.

111|Georgia, 005|Egypt, 084|Monaco, 127|Rwanda, and 175|Nicaragua bolted for a yellow room. They were carefully monitoring the door to make sure they only let the right amount in as they dashed into presumed safety.

"Je so tired." 084|Monaco complained as he bent over in exhaustion.

Three groups, the first of 136|Indiana, 145|Iran, and 191|Serbia, the second of 059|Czechia, 009|Maine, and 187|Palestine, and the third of 109|Israel, 060|Laos, and 160|Bhutan, darted to enter that same yellow room.

111|Georgia was carefully timing when he should slam the door, but the people poured in so fast that he was spun around in confusion.

With a total of 14 people wrestling around in there to maintain their spot, screams of pain ensued.

"We can only have 11! Some of you have to get out!" 009|Maine tried to scream over the chaos.

109|Israel and 187|Palestine were engaging in punching and kicking each other and attempting to force one another out of the room.

Eventually, it was 187|Palestine, 175|Nicaragua, and 191|Serbia that got pushed out of the door, and 111|Georgia quickly slammed the door and held his body against it to prevent them from trying to re-enter.  The three of them quickly ran around, trying to find a different room to go in.

Elsewhere, a tussle for survival ensued, struggling for one last chance to remain in the game. Unfortunately for 25 final players, it was game over.

So I have been thinking of doing another game, called The Amazing Race. If you want to know more about the foundation of this game, here is a link to the Wikipedia page.

Rules: 

Typically, each cycle of the Race features eleven teams (though this may be modified depending on participation).

At the beginning of each leg, each team receives a cash allowance with their first clue, which they must use to cover all expenses except for airfare, which is covered by a Nickelz-provided credit card.  Allowance money is usually given in U.S. dollars regardless of location. The amount of money varies from leg to leg. Teams are allowed to keep any unused money for future legs, barring certain penalties for finishing last.

If team members spend all of their money or have it taken away in a non-elimination leg, they may then attempt to obtain more money in any way that does not violate local laws; this includes borrowing money from other teams, begging from locals, or selling their possessions.
