Historically, the USA hasn't seen football (or soccer) as an equal sport to Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey or American Football, however in more recent times, the sport has started to gain more traction and with a World Cup host bid around the corner, football should be more exciting before. However, despite having players in some of Europe' top divisions, the USMNT still failed to qualify for the knockout rounds in the Copa America, leaving many wondering what the future holds.
