Celebrating a Milestone
I have recently been pondering the idea of JetPunk milestones. Whether it be 1,000 quizzes, Level 100, or 10,000 takes, these numbers are always something to celebrate. As I approach the benchmarks of 20,000 takes and 400 quizzes, I wonder what I can do to celebrate. This blog will dive into my favorite options.
My Past Milestones
After many of my past milestones, Both big and small, I have often celebrated with blogs. However, these posts, earlier in my JetPunk journey, were not very well-written. I also celebrated my 300th quiz with, drumroll please, spam. I will not include the link because it is too embarrassing, but you can find it if you look hard enough. Given these poorly-celebrated milestones, I want to give my next ones justice. But how?
SVG Quizzes
As I recently learned how to make good SVGs, I plan to have one of these be the focus of my 400th quiz. As I may point out, Stewart did an amazing job with his 1,000th quiz, “Countries in a Stewart of the World Map”, which I have considered. However, I have a few more original ideas.
A New Blog Series
If your milestone is large enough, you likely have blog permissions. You may even be a regular and experienced blogger like I am. I would highly recommend beginning a memorable series to celebrate. While most of my attempts to create something legendary have failed, it never changes the fact that I tried. For one of my upcoming blog milestones, I may plan on doing this.
Q and A
In the past, some people have done a “Q and A”. This is where other users can ask them questions that they will answer. It builds a strong sense of community and can be fun for everyone involved.
"My JetPunk Story"
Another amazing way to celebrate a milestone is to share your story on the site. For one of my next blogs, I may consider sharing more details on my journey. I have done some similar things in the past, but a newer blog could reflect more changes as well as include new information.
Take a Break
While it may seem odd, I would strongly recommend taking a break from the site. If you are celebrating a very large milestone, chances are that you spend a lot of time here. You should go outside. This will be good for your brain, while also building greater compassion for nature.
Conclusion
I hope you enjoyed this blog about milestones. I also wish that it gave you some ideas to give your achievements the celebrations that they deserve. See you next time.
