"Short" Story- The Chase

Robber- Never! I will never ever stop running! I don't care if I did something bad at all! Soon you are gonna run out of breath, then I will be free! Give up already!

Policeman-  Give up? More like you will give up! Policemen like me trained to run for miles! And you? You didn't even train for a chase at all! If you think I will stop running, you're just very dumb! Just give up!

Robber- Never ever like I said! I will never ever stop! I don't wanna stop running, because you are gonna make me go into custody, then I would be in jail! Give up already, stop running! Just *huff puff* let me go!

Policeman- You can list all the reasons why you don't want to be caught, but I need to get you- GET DOWN!!! *bang bang bang*

Robber 2- Never fear Carmen, I got your back. Come on, let's run! Like you said before, we're just gonna go into custody if we stop! Come on! Oh come on! Are you really that tired? Run! RUN! JUST RUN NOW!!!

Carmen- Around us, are policemen, am I correct? I think I went unconscious. We should run and-

Robber 2- And?

Carmen- Desert them. But I can't, I think my leg is injured. I can't get up.

Policeman- You are also going to custody. Hands up, you're charged with robbing the bank. You will never be a big threat to society again. Like you and your partner said, I, the policeman might and is gonna make you both go into custody. Come up now.

Carmen- Make me. My leg is injured. I can't even stand up.

Policeman- You don't look injured... Oh wow, you ran away, it totally feels like I'm sad and I'm gonna  cry

Carmen- Never was injured. I didn't think you'd fall for it.

Policeman- Gonna have a good day once I'm done with you two.

Robber 2- Say it. "I will give up because these robbers are too hard for me." Hey look, a fork! Goodbye!

Policeman- Never will say that. You say this. "I am gonna stop running because I am a criminal. I am gonna go into custody. To wait, I will think about what I have done. In the court, I have been sworn to tell no lies, and will follow this rule."

Carmen- A nerd would only say that! More like "I will try to run away and if I don't, in court I will tell a  lie that will make us innocent and we will be freed to finally finish my plan without anyone interfering, and will have the plan executed successfully. I have stolen money. I have traumatized many and also hurt many too, but I really don't care."

Policeman- You know both of you are already arrested, right?
