Top Quizmakers by Language - 2022

Great blog! Quizmaster appears in every language except Finnish, Spanish and others, interesting.

Thank you very much for the stats! That's always interesting to know more precisely the languages, and to compare them between themselves.

Top 7 in French could be a pretty interesting but really challenging and difficult objective for me in 2023. Let's see...

I compared this to your blog from last year, and I really enjoyed how you expanded it to be the top 7 in each language compared to the top 5.

For the enjoyment of those reading this comment, I'd like to note a few changes in the leaderboard:

1. There were no rank changes on the English leaderboard. However, Kolji, johnnayitch, and kiwirage have made it for the first time due to this blog's expansion.

2. Nilles has overtaken Quizmaster for 1st in Dutch by 30,000 takes. Barry90 has passed LGH and Georgi94 to take 2nd as well, and Stewart and Simon have made first-time appearances there as well.

3. Penguinish is closer to passing markjohan in Finnish, although she still has a way to go given markjohan made Finnish COTW. ThisIsAGreatUsername also passed Tietopankki, and SilverDun and scambiandJerry made first-time appearances there as well.

4. punkfrancais hit 10M takes, Reless passed Gamer for 1st, Stewart passed Jerry for 3rd, and Elboy, katsudk, and Anna all made it for the first time.

4. Nothing changed in German except for TOP and skukka making first time appearances.

5. Josiah rose quickly in Italian, going from not appearing on the blog last year to getting 2nd place in takes, dropping multiple quizmakers down in the language, including Jerry, Beppe0, and Scambi. ScambiandJerry showed up to take 6th, and marquez rose to 5th after not showing up on the 2021 blog.

6. RoxyPL, formerly known as SaturnPL, passed 3 million takes and is just short of 4 million, props to her! Miki passed Jerry, both of whom also passed Quizmaster, with YTPO taking 4th after being absent and reless and punkPolska making first-time appearances.

7. Vicky, formerly known as IAB, along with jpedrocm, both passed 1 million takes, props to them both. apocalpyse passed scambiandJerry, Gamer passed deltanz, and Stewart made it in Portuguese for the first time.

8. cathlete passed Jerry for 4th, and reless passed scambiandJerry to hit 1st.

9. "Other" has showed up on this blog for the first time. It would be exciting to see Russian or Turkish eventually become featured, but we'll have to wait and see to what changes next year brings us.

Thank you for making this blog, Stewart, and I hope we get top 10s for each language eventually (if you feel comfortable doing that, of course ;-).
