Well, after hearing about it and seeing mention of it on various comments within Jetpunk, I decided to join the Discord.

Unfortunately I found it wasn't for me sadly

I have nothing against it, and think its a wonderful idea that fellow Jetpunk users can chat, both virtually (as in typing) and actually (audio enabled). and I'm sure that regular users get a lot of enjoyment and assistance from it

But, its not for me. I'm an older guy (57 years young) and find I can't write type quick enough to keep up with the conversation. I don't want to have the audio enablement due to having family around and not being in a private environment. The idea of using headsets etc is not something I want to do.It's just not for me

So there you go, thats me. Maybe I'm a little technically challenged, maybe in a different situation I could enjoy the Discord. But at this time I'll leave it to those of you that enjoy it and wish you well.

Thanks for the invite Stewart, but alas it was all in vain. I shall continue posting quizzes on Jetpunk, that hasn't changed in the slightest, and I shall still comment on others contributions and endeavor to reply to all that comment on mine. Constructive criticism is most welcome.

This is a brilliant quiz site and the makers should be proud of it. It brings together people from all walks of life and races, as well as all 4 corners of the globe (if a globe can have corners...mmmm). Long may it continue

Thanks ..I think, you make it sound like I'm dead already ..lol.

I may try again on the server at some point, Never Say Never as James Bond would say, but at the moment as I say..."Not for me" ..I have no intention of not making quizzes on jetpunk,,I enjoy doing it too much

Thank you. TBH I've tried chat rooms in the past, my main problem is my typing speed, and the fact that I hate spelling mistakes, so I always go over what I've written before posting. By that time several other more adept typers than myself have posted and the conversation goes past the point where I would have commented. Just me being a bit old fashioned or set in my ways I suppose. Anyways I may be back at some point, who knows...
