Ooof, that one's gonna hurt my average, 7/10, one of my worst performances 😅 Guessed wrong on the Chinese question and then bungled the Lesser Antilles one inexplicably. Then that last question caught me out because it's the least Italian name I've ever heard 😅
I only got 7 also. I keep narrowing one question down to two ansswers and then picking the wrong one. In this case, I chose wrong between Riyadh and Lagos.
Ahh that one I got because I knew it was the only non-coastal city of the bunch, but I did the same thing on the Chinese characters question, narrowed it down to crisis or sex, and I overthought it 😂
Jannik Sinner was born in South Tyrol, an autonomous province in Italy near the Austrian border, and grew up speaking German, like 95% of the people in his town.
I got all of them except the "Chinese word for 'crisis'" question. In fact, this is actually a misconception in Western popular culture that it comprises of two characters that mean "danger" and "opportunity", so it isn't even true. In this case, I think the question should be worded differently or replaced if possible.
Excellent. Having Slavic family members who follow Djokovic on the rankings has finally paid off. And being able to ask the Slav sitting next to me also helped 😅
2/10 - my worst ever. *hangs head in shame* Knew the 1st one and clicked on the wrong answer. Just couldn't seem to pull it together after that. Just ugh.
