Level 68

6/10 but at least I got more than every other commenter so far.

I need to brush up on my knowledge of classic video games, tv show hosts, obscure words for hairyness, and shootings in the 90's.

6/10, I can excuse my mistakes (lack of knowledge) on Mean Girls and Tupac, but not the ones on blood type (clicked O instead of AB, I should have known better) and most populous subdivision (I assumed it was going to be a trick question and chose Hunan)

Level 64

Mean girls, blood and the pillocks of creation.. I should have got those last two
+2
Level 60
Sep 26, 2024
Might wanna look up the definition and etymology of pillock lol

So, 96% know where Aleppo is, but only 65% know Peter was the first pope. Ya'll got some knowledge of the world.
+1
Level 55
Sep 26, 2024
Yea I’m honestly surprised lol
+3
Level 70
Sep 26, 2024
I got both right, but if you're not Christian, I don't know why you would know Peter.
+2
Level 62
Sep 26, 2024
*Catholic etc. Christian includes Protestant and I have no clue about Popes
+2
Level 47
Sep 26, 2024
Jesus said, "Thou art Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld will never prevail against it."
+1
Level 70
Sep 27, 2024
I'm Protestant also, but I still knew that.
+3
Level 66
Sep 26, 2024
I got it because of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, it made sense that the residence of the pope would be named after the first pope.

Level 44

Yeah same. Not religious, but have taken way to many Jetpunk quizzes.
+2
Level 48

This site is full of geography quizzes. If you click the random button, 80% of the quizzes will be about countries/capitals/maps

Level 73

Aleppo was more "process of elimination". Athens and Bern are both national capitols of European countries, and I knew Valencia was a major city in Spain
+1
Level 81
Sep 29, 2024
Conflict in Syria has been news for a decent portion of the last decade, idk why people would know Peter in greater numbers based on contemporary relevance

Are 40% of DTC takers foreign?

How do you not know Alex Trebek? Especially on a quiz site? That seems like the equivalent of not knowing who Homer Simpson or Hank Hill are

+6
Level 67
Sep 26, 2024
I'm not foreign, you are. Also, never heard of him/her.
+1
Level 67
Sep 26, 2024
I'm from South Africa, and have never seen Jeopardy, so had no chance of getting it
+2
Level 88
Sep 26, 2024
I’ve never heard of Hank Hill and I only know of Alex Trebek from this website: I wouldn’t recognise a picture of him.
+5
Level 66
Sep 26, 2024
Only about 25% of Jetpunk users are from the US.
+3
Level 79
Sep 26, 2024
The world is not the US you know. Would you know who the host of Countdown is?
+1
Level 67
Sep 26, 2024
Colin Murray or Molly Meldrum?
+1
Level 60
Sep 26, 2024
Amazing how many people live under rocks lol.
+4
Level 17
Sep 26, 2024
Cause some people are not American OR they don't routinely watch quiz shows (myself included in both categories)
+2
Level 72
Sep 26, 2024
I was surprised by this too. I thought the percentage of US quiz takers was much higher. Just 25%?!
+1
Level 70
Sep 26, 2024
I got 9/10, but only because L.A. wasn't a choice for where Tupac was shot.

I missed the highest pop question. No surprise there.

+2
Level 73
Sep 26, 2024
I also thought Tupac was shot in Los Angeles for some reason.
+3
Level 47
Sep 26, 2024
He was from LA, so it would've made sense.
+2
Level 89
Sep 26, 2024
10/10 but some very tricky ones that required a lot of thought today, particularly the Mario one (educated guess in the end) and question 9 (narrowed it down to the last two and figured UP is bigger)
+2
Level 38
Sep 26, 2024
Got 10/10. Every question was easy.
+1
Level 66
Sep 26, 2024
7/10.....I don't get the sub-division question....isn't a sub-division a development tract of homes? Hence, I guessed California...
+1
Level 61
Sep 26, 2024
9/10, I got the last question wrong :(
+1
Level 36
Sep 26, 2024
I scored 5 out of 10, but only because I got 3 lucky guesses.
+1
Level 39
Sep 26, 2024
My first 10/10! Only been doing the Daily Challenge like less than a week. Took my time and had a few lucky guesses. I like the Mario first enemy question.
+3
Level 47

I cannot believe 33% missed Alex Trebek… this is a quiz website! Is he not ~the~ guy for us??
