Not a lot of countries play baseball, it would be unfair same goes for cricket. The Olympics are designed for 1st world countries to win.

Baseball has its own Event Calle the world classic. I believe Japan won it last year.

World Baseball Classic. Usually, it isn't as competitive because MLB players aren't allowed to compete but in 2023 way more MLB players actually played.

Yeah that's part of why Cuba has an insane number of Olympic medals in baseball. Correct me if I'm wrong on anything here, but I believe the US didn't accept Cuban players into the MLB because of all the communist stuff going on.

This meant that these professional level baseball players in Cuba were considered "hobbyist players" despite pretty much being full time professionals.

And since the IOC usually didn't negotiate a to have MLB players of a certain level at the Olympics, all of the Cuban MLB-level players (that were not ranked as such) ridiculously outmatched the rest of the world

I appreciate they don't have the selection of Blockbuster but if you do desire the experience of going to a physical location and getting a DVD, try a charity shop (possibly called a "thrift store" in the USA, not sure if that's quite the same thing or not), anyway here in the UK, you can get DVDs in a charity shop for £1 or less. Cheaper than blockbuster and they're bound to have something you'll like. As I say the selection might not be vast, but at that price with and with no late fees can't complain too much!
