Now that's interesting, I answered the crab nebula one just before the answer had been fixed, but when I refreshed the page my score had gone up, that's awesome!
Still, not my best day, 8/10, guessed the wrong way on questions 8 and 10, but it could've been worse. Thanks for the fix QM! 🙏
Actually now that you mention it, my score in the leaderboard is still a 7/10 score, but my attempts chart says 8/10. But I'll take it haha, it's something!
Thanks. I've never heard of this book, but it sounds interesting. I got the question because I love big band jazz, but now I may add something new to my reading list!
Calvin and Hobbes has been published in newspapers in 50 countries. Glenn Miller was popular pretty much everywhere, as far as I know. I’m not American and it didn’t seem particularly biased towards American information today.
Agreed, today's questions feel reasonably balanced to me.
I'm Canadian so still in proximity to the US, but the heavily American questions (presidents, states, politicians and minor historical events, etc) catch me most of the time, and today they didn't
Number 8 was a bit specific, but it's talked about online
Love languages are often used for how people *feel* love, rather than just displaying love - "I really feel loved when I'm listening to someone else" isn't quite applicable. Words of Affirmation is somewhat similar, having to do with someone being able to reassure you in a way that is actually impactful, as is Quality Time.
10/10 and 9,857, my second-best score of all time. Thank goodness I grew up playing "In the Mood" on the sax, I still read a few Calvin and Hobbes strips every morning, and especially *there were no sports questions* haha
YES! Some pretty perfectly suited questions to me today, with lucky guesses on 6 & 10 (rivers aren't my strong suit, and my age I fear hindered me when it came to the musicians) for my first 10/10
