Well this was a disaster. First 5/10, by far my worst score. I don't like these random themed quizzes … Wouldn't be surprised if this has by far the lowest average score as well.
That is definitely not true lol. This was one of my best. Lots of people know a lot of things about dogs, and most of these questions were common sense. Just because you didn't do well in a theme day doesn't mean other people didn't, just like the other ones. For example, I did terribly on the islands one.
I think you need to learn the definition of common sense. Common sense is being able to deduce something based on general knowledge of how things work, which is not the case for any of these really except for possibly the Antarctica one or the dog age, but even that requires some guesswork or more specific knowledge of each answer choice.
Many of these might be considered “common knowledge”, but common sense will not tell you the name of Dorothy’s dog, what year “Who Let the Dogs Out” was released, or the star of “Dog”. Those all require specific knowledge on the subject.
Part of that percent, thought that since there are many endemic animals and plants something has to be banned there. Like reptiles in Iceland are mostly banned.
Liked the dog theme, but alas, it has prevented me from extending my record, I'd never heard of the 2022 movie Dog, took an educated guess it might be Pedro Pascal because he's been very popular in recent years, but not this time. 9/10 ain't bad though
Antarctica was definitely a bit of a guess for me, mostly a process of elimination. Knew it couldn't be NZ or Jerusalem, and felt like if it was NK I would have been more likely to hear something about it
So, it kinda compares to The Thing.

I looked up whether it was National Dog Day or something lol
I'm fairly worried about the fact that 2% of quiztakers thought that dogs were banned in New Zealand..
But then again, imagine being the government that proposed banning dogs... you'd have a violent revolution in minutes lol
I'll see myself out.
But being real I find it neat all of the questions were about dogs today.
