Dang. I knew all these 100% but my brain overheated or something on question 9 and I lost out on a high score. I’ll take my 7th best of all time gladly, though!
I don't think it's the best standard for female representation, and there are probably better methods. After all, movies like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Zero Dark Thirty, and Gravity, for example, all of which have strong female main characters, fail the test, while movies like Goodfellas, American Pie 2, and Twilight pass it.
8/10 for me today. Didn't know about Solomon's wives. I *did* know Ethiopia lost its coastline to Eritrean independence, but I saw Bolivia as an option and locked in on it because of the War of the Pacific (which happened a full century earlier, oops 😅)

Solomon's wives led him into worshipping idols, Frank. In fact, Solomon broke all three prohibitions for kings listed in the Pentateuch: too many wives, too much gold and too many chariots.
9/10 because I didn't read the date of the country that became landlocked and just immediately thought of the War of the Pacific, so I was off by a century. D'oh!
"As of 2022, it listed 57% of films in its database as passing all three of the test's requirements, 10% as failing one, 22% as failing two, and 11% as failing all three."
Best score all-time
Some good educated guesses and deductions didn't hurt either
