Redeemed myself for yesterday, 10/10 with no guesses, took my time on a few to make sure I was reading the questions properly this time though 😅

I love when the daily quiz is themed like this, and this frequency is just about right, too!

I wouldn't exactly say Morricone's song is "featured" in the movie. He did the soundtrack!

The Ballon d'Or-question would have more interesting statistics with C. Ronaldo as one of the other options, I guess.

I didn't read the whole question, and thought it said "Gold Coast" :(

Great quiz - but I'm thinking the upcoming frankincense- and myrrh-themed quizzes will be a lot tougher!

9/10. Had to make a blind guess on the last one and missed it but got lucky on the soccer player. Which was at least a semi-educated guess.

I also got 9/10 by missing the last question. Oh well!

9/10 because I don't know anything about soccer/football so it was a wild guess after ruling out Beckham. Also I didn't know Gold Beach but I knew Utah and Omaha, so thanks for including those, and I got worried on The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly until I just saw it was the name of the score's composer, and I couldn't have my user name if I didn't know that. Great theme!

8/10, my best score by 2 answers! only missed 7 and 9. I do not do old movies and I'm not that far in for AP World history :)

But you wouldn't find beaches with those names in Normandy.

Those are code names given to them by the allied invaders. They are not actual place names.

I don't understand your complaint. The question never said anything about official names. If you know about the code names you would know what the question implies. You can see that from the results too, as a majority got it right. Incuding yourself, I would believe.

4/10 I knew the answer for the gold rush question. I could've got a 5/10.

I got the first 5 correct and the last 5 wrong, so 5/10. It was going so well.
