Ooh, I remember someone mentioned the idea of country themes in the comments a week or so back, love it! Hungary was an interesting one to start with.

Got 9/10, never heard of Edward Teller, I guessed quantum computer because I know Hungary has produced a lot of good mathematicians and I figured I'd have heard of the H-bomb inventor, but I guess not 😅

Geiger counter, was either a happy coincidence or sneaky to have put in there, because Geiger counter in Dutch is Geiger teller... I knew it was not that one though, but found it amusing.

I just woke up only to realize that Jetpunk has Hungarian themed quiz. As a Hungarian, I found it pretty easy and got 10/10 and a best score of all-time after completing more than 150 daily quizzes. I don't remember any other country themed quiz before, so it's extremely lucky that I got my own country. I'm still in complete shock!

Although not Hungarian, as a waterpolo player I have a random fascination with Hungary and was pleasantly surprised to find the quiz rather easy. Also got a 10/10 and a best score.

Yikes. That was hard. I got like 3 blind guesses right, too. I’m calling it a blind guess that I thought Vigo the Carpathian, from Ghostbusters, just seemed Hungarian.

5/10. All the ones I got right I knew, and all of the ones I got wrong were total guesses

First six right, last four wrong. I think Romania when I hear Carpathians, so had no chance on that one. All the others were 50/50s.

I was not aware the Carpathians were that far west, I associate them with Ukraine (especially since several of Ukrainian songs I listen to mention them)

8/10, questions 8 and 10 were 50/50 guesses for me and I got both wrong.

Great quiz, would love to see more country (and sports) themed daily trivias.

Actually the longest river in Europe that also flows through Hungary, is Danube; but the longest river by measuring its hungarian section in the country is Tisza. Although it's not there as a possible answer, so you can't confuse it, but I thought it would be cool to clarify.

10/10 and first on my leaderboard (first time in a while), and I am NOT from Hungary. :)

I'm pretty sure that Teller was mentioned or appeared in the movie Oppenheimer - otherwise, I wouldn't know him. Also was thinking for long time whether the composer was Liszt oder Chopin. I thought, Chopin's compositions were calmer while the Hungarian Rhapsodies are rather powerful. (No idea whether this is correct, but this is how I deducted the correct answer.)
