Very subtle theme, didn’t notice till question 9 or 10. Didn’t do that great, but I think I couldn’t gotten most of the ones I missed with a little more thought.

A "last" theme for the last quiz of the year? Clever!

9/10, never heard of the Last Action Hero, took a shot in the dark with Van Damme, should've erred on the side of mainstream lol. Also took a while to work out the New Year question and to rule out the non-Caesar options

Last Action Hero is actually a really good movie in my opinion... just not what people expected from Arnie, maybe.

Agreed. It was marketed as a high-octane action film. We got a tongue-in-cheek self parody. People were not happy. I loved it, however.

I like it, too. Wasn't even aware that it flopped at the box office. It's an action comedy that gets a lot of its jokes from typical action movie clichés.

As one who picked Naruto, I most certainly did not think Naruto was the last airbender. I eliminated Kodos (the only one I've heard of) and picked at random from the other three names.

Personally, I thought 55% was pretty good. A lot of people on this site are elderly, and the Avatar fanbase really only starts with millennials. Personally, I'm just happy one of my favorite TV shows made the cut :)

Wow. I thought I was going to set a new low when I missed 2 of the first 3 (I’m not saying which, hmph). Cruised on the back half, though and salvaged an 8! Last King of Scotland is great… in a horrible, violent way.

Also, Caesar's last words are quite disputed so it's not that great of a question.

Man, I thought that the "last country to celebrate the new year" was going to be asking something completely differently, about different calendars used by countries. For example, I think the Eastern Orthodox countries celebrate the new year two weeks later. Upon looking further, India mostly just uses the Gregorian calendar, but still.
