I can’t believe I lost 27 on Riyadh. I swear I only thought for half a second but it pushed me below 9900. I’ll take the 10/10 and 5th best score ever, though! It had been a frigid January in the land of Dimby’s daily trivia.
That was my slowest question today as well, I have no idea why because I have such a vivid memory of the Trivial Pursuit card telling me Saudi Arabia has no rivers 😅
Did he really study dreams in some scientific way, or did he just have strong opinions? Ascribing meaning to dreams seems like the purview of a charlatan.
Hannibal became part of the Seleucid Empire court. While this empire did contain Babylon, its capital was Seleucia. If that had then been an answer I would agree with you.
Got the 10/10, and my 12th best score of all time with 9,926. Honestly should've been faster on a couple of these too but I ignored my own advice and did it first thing in the morning 😅
Quite pleasing to know that I still can better my scores. As I am not an English native speaker, it always takes just a fraction of a second longer to negotiate questions, but today, 978 was the lowest (educated guess on Riyadh).
I missed that one too. I've 'learned' enough about the life of Newton that I must have heard that story at some point, but I sure don't remember it. Oh well.
Edit: No, second...
Well I'll take it anyway
Average for me..
