got the first 4 correct, 1 wrong, 1 correct and the rest wrong, man these questions got me doubting between answers and I picked the wrong one every time.
I'm from outside the Midwest and I wasn't aware of it until now--got the question wrong of course. But each day I look up one of my wrong answers to learn about it, and now I know! Seems like a good thing to know about.
Weird today, a lot of sweet spot questions, only had to guess on the Beckham kid. As a diver, I've read about the numerous shipwrecks in the Great Lakes (besides the lovely song by Kris Kristofferson), I've played video games with my kids since the 90s just to keep in touch with them. Nice to have an easy win!
Lots of wild guesses today and things that I've never heard of like Rafael Nadal, Edmund Fitzgerald, and League of Legends, but thank goodness for random chance and some history/geography knowledge.
7/10. The ones I missed I tried D'Orsay, Australian Open, and English Channel. I may be wrong but I think the letted "m" doesn't exist in Japanese (maybe only on katakana words?), so it couldn't be Kimchi. "G" as well may only exist on katakana, but katakana's point is to "japanize" stranger words so logically katakana estillized words come from the Japanese language. Muumuu is the only possible word here aside from the right answer. Actually not, as it contains the letter 'm'.
Edit: Umami has two m's too, lol, "m" does exist in Japanese. So Muumuu seems like a proper answer too. Anyway, "mc" "ditongs" as in Kimchi probably don't exist in Japanese, they seem like a Korean feature.
You got 10 of 10 correct
With time bonus, your score is 9,874
You beat or equaled 99% of test takers
This is your BEST SCORE all-time!
Got lucky on the SS
Had no chance at the Beckham question but appreciate the Fitzgerald inclusion. Gotta imagine that's tough for non-Americans or even non-Midwesterners.
The other 3 I just diddn't know. Don't care about tennis or soccer players or video games.
I knew henry's wives from the song
Guessed the French open
and my friend is obsessed with arcane so I kinda knew that one
9/10 is good, happy to expand the brain a little...
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald

Superior, they said, never gives up her dead

Absolutely had no clue about the Edmund Fitzgerald RIP
