I thought Kruschev had the eyebrows... facepalm. Most of the rest I knew already, though I have somehow not come across Stalin's birthplace before. 8/10
8/10, with my 3rd best score. I was so close to 10/10, man. In both questions (Lenin's death & Stalin's birth place) I was confused between two options, I had 50% chance and I chose the wrong in both lol
Dang. I just couldn’t force myself to pick up the pace even though I do a full month-long unit on Soviet Union history. Easy 10, but way slower than I should’ve been!
8/10 for me, read the questions properly so missed some obvious traps but wasn't very fast. Didn't know Stalin's birthplace or which lake it was. I'm old enough to have seen the eyebrows on TV and remember that Bulgaria was not in the soviet union.
I'm surprised the last one seems to be difficult, I think it should be relatively easy to exclude War and Peace and The Brothers Karamazov since Tolstoy and Dostoevsky were 19th century authors.
Fun fact, Stalin displayed Lenin's body against the family's will; the deification and cult of personality around Lenin was part of how Stalin obtained his legitimacy
Легко, первый 10/10. Хотя считается ли это если я проходил это все в школе? Конечно считаетсе, так и так мне тяжелее всего ведь я не знаю ни слова на английском а мой соедний результат это 4,25
Today trivia answers you!
my mom: "I think all of them"
Gorbachev = birthmark
Stalin = moustache
Lenin = beard
Andropov = "who???"
Chernenko = "now you're just making names up"
Best I’ve done in a long time. History is more down my alley.
прощай, товарищ
Unlike Aotearoa / New Zealand
I knew Stalin was born in Georgia so that was an easy elimination all the others were straightforward
Anyone else got the tetris music in their head now ( she said to an empty room... but who knows, someone might show up..)
