Looking it up, I think I must have seen this monkey somewhere, but I never read the story and I was way too old when they started streaming the show in France.
Technically, question 6 is somewhat incorrect; while Heston's character sees the destroyed statue and makes this exclamation, he isn't surprised that the statue itself is destroyed. Rather, the statue indicates that the (formerly unidentified) planet is Earth, so the object of his surprise is that "they blew (the Earth) up!"
Also the "they" is referring to humanity, not the apes. The quote is said because the protagonist realises that humanity wiped itself out via nuclear war.
This is underscored by what he says just before: "I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it."
We finally blew up the statue of liberty doesn't make any sense; there'd be no specific fear of such an event. We finally destroyed ourselves and the planet... yeah.
10/10 and 9,888, a little bit slow on a couple so I don't think I'll be holding onto top spot for long today 😅 Thailand was an educated guess for the monkey gangs, and Curious George was just a complete shot in the dark, had no idea
No, that really is the prevailing theory. The disease has to mutate from the chimpanzee-compatible SIV (Simian) to a Human-compatible form. Tracing the different strains of the disease indicates it occurred through at least 4 separate transmission events, linked to exposure to the animals' blood and other fluids during the butchering process or consumption. The strain responsible for the pandemic most likely originated in southern Cameroon.
After doing this quiz and a little research, I found out that there are chimps who hunt bush babies by taking small saplings and sharpening the ends. Apparently this is mostly done by female chimps in one region of Africa only (not the eastern jungle chimps). Chimps can use tools!

Apparently, I'm knowledgeable about monkeys but had no idea that I was
Not bad considering the topic
