Hesitated a lot on the last one which cost me a high score, but much like the mighty tortoise, slow and steady wins the race today, 10/10 🐢

The quiz is fine. Pretty ok. But the difficulty of the questions could be easier, so the people can get higher grade on it. Keep it up!

Missed the one about the name of the old turtle, but the rest I got easy. Fun theme!

Not my topic at all, but with a few educated guesses (and a lot of luck), I still got 9/10 :-)

The last question illustrates a common theme for me, first instinct is correct, then a second thought changes my guess to something more "logical". 9/10, would've been 10 if I'd followed my gut.

That was the only question I had to guess at, but lucky for me I guessed correctly.

I narrowed it down to B or C, really wasn't sure but I think something at the back of my head remembered reading it somewhere

9/10 with a couple of lucky guesses. Especially Michelangelo. Are they not just all the same but with different color eye masks? Luck ran out on the last question.

Gosh no!

Leonardo: Leader, sets and follows the rules

Donatello: Genius guy, techie

Rapheal: Brawny one, strength more than brain

Michangelo: COWBUNGA!

My kids were 5-10 years old when the TMNTs were in their heyday, lots of Halloween customs

Pretty easy - when you raise 3 kids you learn a lot about diinosaurs and watch all the Jurassic Park movies, basilisk is in Harry Potter (plus Greek mythology), read up on Lonely George from a different quiz, gila monster/Ozempic was in the recent news. Good start for the day!

The first question's results were a little concerning. Didn't we learn the difference between amphibians and reptiles in elementary school?? 21% is an awful lot to have thought frogs were reptiles

Probably because "Cayman" is a homophone of "caiman"- an alligatorid belonging to the subfamily Caimaninae (a reptile).

9/10 with no guesses until the last one, which was a (bad) guess. But I love dinos and reptiles, and made lots of trips to see Lonesome George when he was on display at the American Museum of Natural History. Cowabunga!

Herpetologists refer to the group of animals they study (amphibians and reptiles but not birds) as "herptiles", or "herps" for short.

And yes, this implies a lot of "derpetology" jokes.
