Good lord...8/10, could have easily been a 6/10....missed Q8 and Q3 on no idea guesses, a couple of wins on process of elimination, e.g. Q5, Q10....right behind you on the LB, as usual. Frank or Qiqui will bump us down, those scamps!
I'm a little out of shape today gang 😅 Just about scraped 9th on my LB but I do not expect to stay there once the night owls show up haha, expecting Vermicious to do well today
5/10 should have been 6, I chose Pennsylvania before reading on, yet I've heard the officials there CIA/FBI (?) being derogatorily referred to as Virginian bunnies. Missed a coin flip on 3 of the questions (4, 5 & 9). I had no clue on Q8.
Did great until the last two. Ever since junior high science I've always confused Copernicus and Kepler, and I've never for the life of me been able to straighten it out. It's weird! (but consistent)
Ahh, 9/10 for me today, botched the Vegas question, which it seems most found quite easy. For some reason Sphere felt wrong to me so I went for Oval, which now that I'm thinking about it, is a cricket ground 😂
Also, wild to see how many people apparently thought the Great Pyramid predates human civilization 😅
And as a car guy I got the engine question wrong.
The only reason anyone got this wrong is because they don't know where Ur is:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fertile_Crescent
But we're not trying to trick anyone so I'll change Memphis to Luxor. (Even though not one got it wrong because of this).
Embarrassing!
Missed 2nd and 7th.
Studying for competitive exams helped me guess the last 3 questions all of which were answered by less than half of everyone 🙏.
Also, wild to see how many people apparently thought the Great Pyramid predates human civilization 😅
There was a 50-50 chance between Cairo and Istanbul, because both cities saw protests on some famous squares.
If I had managed to remember the name of the other one, it probably would have helped to know which one is which.
