Managed the 10/10 today. Was uncertain on the timing of the McDonald's one, and had to use process of elimination for the racing driver, but the others weren't too bad, 9,867.
Second 10/10 in a row, but need to thank author Louise Penny for the assist on Q9. Half way through "Still Life" & McGill gets a mention, the story takes place just outside Montreal.
8/10 because there was a sports question and I'm genetically unable to get those right, and then apparently like a lot of people I stupidly clicked on the McRib as soon as I saw it.
6/10 guessed right on Q3 guessed wrong on Q4. Chose McRib cos the happy meal still exists and I'd never heard of McSushi or super sized fries. Was thinking hard about McLaren but knew it was a car so chose Rory (I knew for sure it wasn't McQueen). Had no idea on the uni other than it's not Edinburgh but it's obviously not Boston either.
Another 5! .. and only one bad mistake, an ow no! there was another ow yeah I think I actually knew that, but I don't feel foolish because of that one. And had no idea on most of the others.
Before this week I think I only had about 3 5s, after this week I have 2 more 5s..
Q7: Bruce McLaren (1937-1970) was not just a “race car driver”. The F1 company he formed before his death in a test drive still exists and is still one of the top ranked F1 teams.
(except that I got a 5/10)
As I just discovered, it's really really hard to write the McDonald's jingle using words.
With time bonus, your score is 962
You beat or equaled 0% of test takers
