Wow, third best score ever. I didn’t feel like I was pushing to go that fast, but I think my slowest was something like 984, and then miraculously got 994 on a handful.
I’ll enjoy being #1 on my leaderboard until Frankii does it.
It was a fast board for me too, could have been my best ever I think, but I messed up on question nr 1 (I am ashamed to admit). My mind went Enigma, ah, Bletchly park, so UK... -_- So much you hear about it is focused on cracking it... so once my eyes caught Uk it went for it.. (um it? my hands I mean I guess haha)
I saw you at top, well done! (hopefully franki won't topple you🤓 I missed the movie & music question got all the history/book ones, so I'm ok with that.
check them out, I think they are awesome, learned about them at quite a young age but only learned the English term well into "adulthood". Actually now I have forgotten by what name I originally knew them..
I wonder what the JP age/country/gender demographics/standard deviation stats are....if 82% knew the Scooby-Doo movie question (I went with Ghostbusters), I guess the age is a lot younger than I would have figured!....or maybe parents with children?😊
I think I am your elder...lol....In '69 I was listening to the Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young & on my way to college. My kids, all born in the mid-80s, didn't watch cartoons much. A lot of Disney DVDs, tho. It's so fascinating to connect the context of what we know from sheer experience versus intended learning.
Well I know what a one armed bandit is, but I took a punt on slot machine because, although I've heard the term, I was not entirely sure what it meant. Luckily they both mean poker machine.
Finally broke the 9950-point barrier on this one! I'm satisfied with my new high score and will go back to reading carefully and checking for traps, instead of answering as fast as possible.
Having someone with the surname Machine as an option for #9 was hilarious
