The chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants were the most damaging to the ozone, but they've mostly been replaced by hydrofluorocarbons HFCs which are less damaging but still weakly damaging. Imo it's not great cause it gives a false sense of security.
The funny thing is the HFCs and CFCs both have a warming effect higher than CO2 so you guys are also right
Musicals: some are less obvious like hairspray (not about the musical but about hairspray in general) but others are simply about the musical or its songs themselves.
You're right, it's more subtle today than usual. I didn't realize til the end looking back on the clues. Miss Saigon. East End. Shtetl is presumably a reference to Fiddler on the Roof.
This is unbelievably strange. I was listening to the new wicked soundtrack while I did this quiz. I thought it was coincidence enough that one question said “the king and I” which reminds me of “the wizard and I.” Then I got to the last question
I saw the first question and thought "I hope it's a Miss Saigon theme because I know that musical backwards and forwards" then I proceeded to not realize the theme until question 9. Still got a 9/10 though so I guess it's okay I'm dumb about recognizing questions about musicals.
8/10 for me today. I was pretty sure Kibbutz was wrong but went for it anyway because I'd never heard of any of the other words, and I had no idea on Hello Dolly either.
9/10, missed the Jewish settlements. Good quiz, but I was careful to read through all the answers. I like musicals plus I've been making a series of musicals quizzes . I've probably listened to over 50 full soundtracks (concurrently with household/gardening tasks). The first musical I saw was literally 'The King & I' in Hollywood's Theatre in the Round, I was about 6YO, I remember it clearly.
Vieieieietnam....Saigon
I wasn't really sure what was going on.
(Falco fans and those of certain age will get the song reference "Nineteen").
Falco was famous for 'Amadeus'
The funny thing is the HFCs and CFCs both have a warming effect higher than CO2 so you guys are also right
With time bonus, your score is 9,878
You beat or equaled 99% of test takers
Shtetl comes from the German Stadt and was a type of often conservative settlement that were unfortunately almost completely destroyed in ww1
