7/10 - I probably should have gotten the Land Cruiser and Jeep questions right but...oh well. Also, it seems people are performing particularly well today (my score's only enough to beat 36% at the time of writing).
I can tell I’m early when a 10/10 this slow still leaves me at #1 on my board. I got slowed down by the Land Cruiser question because my brain short circuited to Land Rover. Good thing that wasn’t a choice or I may have made a really dumb error.
I certainly considered that before guessing - and that's what it was - correctly. If you don't know what the midlands are, London seems perfectly reasonable. I mean, in the US, the 'midwest' is between the middle of the country and the east, 'down east' is the northeast, etc.
Ouch 7/10 I should have expected to get the car question wrong--I haven't had a car for twenty years--but I also got two geography questions wrong! I mean, I was looking for "Wellington" :)
Feel stupid for getting the Alice in Wonderland question wrong and picking Frank L Baum. This is what happens when you don't think before you click kids.
Not particularly rapid today, but managed the 10/10 with 9,886. Had to stop myself from going for Jeep on the car question and took a while to think whether it was Toyota or Mercedes. Also needed a bit of an educated guess on the Land of Smiles, but the rest were comfortable for me
20% saying Switzerland is the land of smiles, this is insane. Switzerland' stereotype is close to German stereotype, if you smile to a stranger he will think you are crazy.
Good thought. I didn't get that far, but the others just didn't pass the vibe check. Switzerland and New Zealand take themselves too seriously (according to my poorly informed intuition) and ... Poland? Really?
2nd half 1/5
😵💫
A) Poland
ah, we got a joker over here
Lack of vehicle names tripped me up again.
