don't you hate it when that happens. I thought the answer was Pisa, but wanted to say Genoa, but decided to say Pisa instead, so it worked out for me, somehow.
Tao is the man. If I'm not mistaken, they named 2pi after him (6.28318...) and were considering changing the circle formulas to use tao. (2(pi)(r) to (tao)(r), e.g.)
9/10, fell at the final hurdle. Never heard of the guy but was able to rule out poker. Thought going for maths might be leaning into stereotypes too much, and that I'd be more likely to have heard of a mathematician than a juggler 😅
I didn't do particularly well on this (6/10). Took me a while after I was done to figure out today's theme (same letter initials in the clues after the first answer) too!
Had the wrong address for King Kong & didn't know Tao but watched some of his recent interviews on AI algorithm, very interesting. He is a little hard to follow, besides the way his brain works in one of those savant ways, he talks fast.
"What do you mean Italy is an answer for Galileo?!?!"
Tau is the greek letter for 6.28. It has nothing to do with Tao, although he is a great mathematician.
Carry on
τ = 2π
They should be the other way round!
