I never realized that the Sun was so morbidly obese. No wonder the Earth is getting hotter. If the Sun doesn't start losing weight, exercising more and eating healthier we are all doomed.

No, not when Ceres was discovered. According to Wikipedia, Ceres was discovered 1801 and Nepture was discovered 1846.

I'm not sure if the hypercane fact gives the right impression. Global warming must be so extreme that the water temperature reaches 50°C. It's so unlikely the German wikipedia doesn't even mention it. More likely would be, after impact events, volcanic eruptions.
