I have therefore compiled two different alternatives that will be fun for everyone!
First: a prescription bottle hunt! I know this sounds dodgy, but hear me out!
- Everyone brings a handful of their own prescriptions from their medicine cabinet.
- Hide them around the yard (weather-permitting) or house.
- Everyone can hunt up to the number of prescription medicine bottles that they brought.
- But you are NOT allowed to find your own bottles!
- Everyone has to take the medication as directed, until the bottle runs out.
- Only after it has run out can you return the bottle to the rightful owner.
This game will get really fun when antibiotic medications and antipsychotic medications are involved! :)
Second: a water bottle hunt!
- Everyone fills a bottle with either water or vodka (🇷🇺).
- Everyone hides their own bottle and then tries to find another bottle.
- Once found, the hunter must chug the entire contents of the bottle.
- Here's the TWIST! The bottles that were filled with "water" will actually be filled with hydrochloric acid (completely harmless).
- The wonderful news is that you will get to cheer up the emergency room staff who will have to work over the Easter holiday! Make sure to bring them Easter dinner leftovers. :D
Let me know in the comments if anyone partakes in these age-appropriate, family-friendly Easter games!
But you never lie, hydrochloric acid and vodka do not contain nuts.
