I am starting to research the origins of certain foods and where they get their names. I have started with Hot Dogs, but I'm not sure which foods to write about. Here's where you come in. I need you to suggest some foods that have specific names rather than just generic terms. For example, Jambalaya, Rubens Sandwich (Have I even spelled that right?) or Haggis. I may or may not be using those three depending how the research evolves.
The blog will probably be finished in a few months time, but I will make a note of all suggestions and credit you with the suggestion.
the reason for this request is that there are some foods that are well known only in a specific area or country and that I have never heard of. I just saves me time trawling through websites and Wikipedia looking for something I don't know exists.
Anyways, over to you....
Also, are you doing food brands as well?
Peanuts
Burrito
Joking aside, this is a surprisingly difficult question. Most of my favourite foods are literally just two English words combined together. Mashed potatoes. Ice cream. Milk shake.
My picks would probably be tacos and spaghetti.
