Favorite Cars

I saw the gas prices and it got me thinking of cars, when pontiac mentioned a 16 mpg car, it made me think of a 2005 mercury grand marquis. What are other cool/favorite cars?

Note: I have never been to El Dorado

My favorite car is the 1968 Oldsmobile 442 with the Duesenburg SJ coming in a close second and then the Pontiac Firebird is my third favorite

I love what the Korean automakers have been doing the past few years.

The new Kia K5 & K6 sedans are so sick, and the new Telluride SUV and Carnival minivian are absolutely premium. I also love the new Hyundai Elantra, once I start going to college I’m planning on leasing a ‘25 Elantra Hybrid. It gets like 55 mpg and has an amazing handling & crash rating, not to mention looking incredibly sleek.

The new Honda Accord is a borderline luxury sedan, and the Civics are still as sweet as ever.

On the American side of things, I think Ford has been making the nicest-looking vehicles, but their reliability has declined precipitously just like Chevy and GM. I also genuinely really love the look of Rivians (I know they aren’t for everybody, but I think the R1S and R1T look amazing) and I hope that the R2 is able to successfully release and save them.

As for my all-time favorite, I gotta go with the Honda N Box. I really wish I could get one in the US.

I wish ford still made sedans, the crown vic is just as good as the Grand Marquis (They are, after all, the exact same thing).

As the previous owner of a Ford Fusion, they were decent economy cars. V6 engines were sweet, and they made hybrid models of the last like five or six years of the Fusion, Focus, and Fiesta. Wish they didn't only make trucks and SUVs now.

Ford does still make Sedans, sort of. They make Sedans for international markets targeting China and the Middle East.

I agree with all this. The Korean cars especially have improved substantially since the early 2000s. Genesis in particular is a great luxury car brand

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid.

That car is unbelievably amazing and much better than much more expensive cars.

1967-69 Mustang, fastback. My first car was a 73 with the gunmetal grey Mach 1 paint, but it wasn’t a Mach 1. Fixed it up with my dad as a teenager.

Eventually I sold it and my dad and I were going to use the money to go to Turkey but that never wound up working out. Maybe someday

As far as modern daily drivers, I’m a big subaru fan. All around great cars.

Depends where the origin is ...

US - 1959 Chevy Impala Sport Coupe (or a Sport Sedan)

UK - 1967-1973 Rover P5B Coupe

Japan - 1970 Toyota Celica 1600 ST

Europe - Renault 4 (just something about those)

Out of current cars - Hyundai Santa Fe
